About Wave
WAVE LIGHTING’s origins began in the 1950s as a small company, Adjusta-Post, manufacturing & supplying posts to the rapidly growing residential lighting market. The company soon expanded its product line to include residential lighting fixtures, complementing their already successful post division.
The Adjusta-Post Lighting Company became a national favorite for domestically produced lighting fixtures and posts. As innovators, Adjusta-Post continued to broaden its USA-based manufacturing capabilities and widen its product offerings; becoming the “Go-To” company for the non-corrosive outdoor lighting market.
In 2009, Adjusta-Post became Wave Lighting and increased its offerings to include commercial posts and fixtures with an emphasis on developing long-lasting, sustainable lighting solutions. Today, Wave Lighting’s commitment to quality, innovation, service, and quick shipping upholds traditions that began over 60 years ago.

Wave Lighting’s BAA Compliant Fixtures
BAA-Compliant Lighting Solutions
The Buy American Act (BAA) of 1933 requires federal agencies to prioritize “domestic end products” and construction materials for federally funded projects — including infrastructure initiatives where lighting plays a critical role. To help meet these requirements, Wave Lighting offers a range of BAA-compliant fixtures specifically designed and manufactured for government and public sector use.
Wave Lighting’s BAA-Compliant Lineup
Wave Lighting’s BAA-compliant products are assembled in St. Louis, MO, and meet the definition of “Commercially Available Off-the-Shelf” (COTS) items — meaning they are manufactured in the U.S. and available to the general public without modification. These fixtures qualify under the BAA either by containing at least 50% U.S.-made components or by meeting the COTS exemption, ensuring your project stays compliant with federal procurement standards.
