About PLC Multipoint

In the 1980s, Fred Blake, created the very first photosensor. He founded Multipoint Control and patented his sensor design. Fred sold his company to his friend and colleague Fred Dittmann, who was operating a controls manufacturing company at the time. In 1991, Fred Dittmann formed PLC Multipoint, which he operated together with his son Norm.

From its inception, PLC Multipoint has focused on creativity and innovation in its product development. Their products feature a wide range of technologies, including illuminance and luminance sensing, interior and exterior control system configuration and programming, and a number of wireless communication protocols.

PLC Multipoint manufactures all of their products in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard-registered facility and a UL508A Panel Shop, enabling them to deliver products of the highest quality all over the world.
